To this end, Council allocates funds each year to assist these groups to complete projects or hold events intended to benefit the community. These funds are distributed through the Community Partnership Fund (CPF) – a competitive, application-based funding program.
How much can I apply for?
CPF grants are capped at $10,000 under the Community Projects (formally Mainstream) component and $5,000 under the Festivals & Events component. Under no circumstances will a CPF grant exceed 50% of the eligible costs of the project or event.
When do I submit an application for CPF funding?
The application intake period for 2018 projects is closed. The application intake period for 2019 projects will not open until Spring of 2019.
Where would I find the CPF Guidelines and Application Form?
If you are a community group and wish to be placed on our e-mail list to receive a copy of the application when the round opens, please send an email to email@example.com.
Other Funding Opportunities
In addition to administering its own grant program (the CPF), the Municipality has developed an on line research tool – Find Funding Chatham-Kent – to assist members of the community in finding funding for various projects.
