If you have lost livestock or poultry to certain animal predators, you may be entitled to seek compensation under the Ontario Wildlife Damage Compensation Program. Through this provincial program, compensation may be paid to owners for the cost of livestock/poultry killed or injured by coyotes and other approved predators. Livestock owners must notify their municipality within 48 hours of discovering the injury or death of livestock or poultry, or discovering damage to beehives.
