Virtual community meetings planned for July
as part of municipal service review
Residents from across Chatham-Kent are invited to take part in virtual community meetings next month to provide input on how municipal government services are delivered.
Meetings have been scheduled on a ward-by-ward basis and will take place through the MS Teams platform.
The process is being undertaken by the independent firm KPMG, a world-leader in professional business services.
KPMG has been retained by Chatham-Kent to assist in assessing the municipality’s current services and whether services can be delivered more efficiently and effectively within budget and resource capacities.
Community involvement is a key element in assessing municipal services and opportunities for change.
KPMG will be conducting virtual community meetings on:
- Ward 1 (West Kent) – Tuesday, July 13, 2021 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
- Ward 2 (South Kent) – Wednesday, July 14, 2021 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
- Ward 3 (East Kent) – Thursday, July 15, 2021 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
