Tracy Root Exhibition at ARTspace

ARTspace is pleased to present a remarkable series of paintings by artist Tracy Root. A respected member of the London art scene for many years, Root moved to CK during the height of the pandemic. Her new exhibition"Prism of Perception," opens to the public on March 30, with a reception open to all on Friday, April 1, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

As a new resident arriving during the isolation of the lockdowns, Root responded to these challenges by dedicating herself to her studio practice. During this time, she created paintings that evoke a sense of longing, loss, and acceptance. Through her highly refined painting style, she perceives the world as a kaleidoscope of geometric patterns, lively composition, and vibrant colours. Root creates a visual language all her own; in her inviting body of work, interior and external worlds collide and create works imbued with memory and imagination.

Join us in welcoming Tracy to our community. Everyone is invited to this free and family-friendly event. The artist will be present to speak about her work, so don't miss this opportunity to introduce yourself, support our local art scene and experience the vibrant and growing artistic community of Chatham-Kent.

ARTspace is located at 165½ King Street West in downtown Chatham and is open from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday. For more information, visit www.tagartspace.com. We look forward to seeing you!
