How to Apply for a Special Event Application: Public Information Meeting

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent hosts on average 210 special event applications a year. During the pandemic, Special Events had been strained and had to either be cancelled or modified to meet Ontario Regulations. As the Provincial Government lifts restrictions, special event applications are increasing.

The Municipality would like to invite Special Event Organizers to attend one of three public information meetings on How to Apply for a Special Event Application.

At this meeting organizers will be able to meet with staff, obtain paper copies of the special event application and where they can find electronic versions for download and printing purposes. Listen to a presentation on the application process and ask questions.

The public information meetings dates and locations are below:

  • March 29th from 7:00-9:00 pm at the Thames Campus Arena in the Red Line Room
  • March 30th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Blenheim Arena in the Blue Line Room
  • March 31st from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the Wallaceburg, Memorial Area in the Jack Backus Mezzanine Room
