On March 13, Dr. David Colby, Chatham-Kent Medical Officer of Health, declared a State of Emergency in Chatham-Kent. The declaration of a municipal emergency is part of Chatham-Kent’s ongoing efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 and will ensure the municipal government can continue to act and respond quickly to the pandemic and any other events that arise in the weeks ahead.
Based on these recommendations, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent has cancelled most municipal-operated programs and closed a number of our facilities. We remain prepared to respond to emergencies. Emergency response by Chatham-Kent Police, Fire Services and EMS is not impacted.
Below you'll find a list of the updates to our services.
