Services provided by each division include the following:
Building Development Services
Building Development Services provides enforcement of the Ontario Building Code through plan review, permit issuance, inspections, enforcement, and code interpretation by skilled and provincially certified staff.
Fire & EMS
The Fire & EMS department provides fire protection and the ambulance service to the Municipality and is also responsible for the maintenance of the municipal emergency response plan, the municipal emergency operations centre and the ongoing public awareness of personal preparedness and the importance of local knowledge regarding emergency management.
The Legal Services division provides legal services to the Municipal Council, administration, and local boards such as the Public Utilities Commission, Police Services Board, Entegrus and Library Board.
Municipal Governance provides the following key services - Municipal Clerk, Council Administration, Records Management and Licensing Services.
The Chatham-Kent Planning Services Team is a group of individuals that plan, assess and monitor land uses and the land use needs of the community over the course of time.
Provincial Offences Court
The Provincial Offences Court provides for the administration, prosecution and courtroom to handle charges laid under the Provincial Offences Act.
