Other services are scheduled as follows:

Cemeteries: Cemetery staff will be on call for funeral homes who require at-need sales.

CK Transit: Services will not be running on Sunday July 1. However, the Seasonal Bus Route S1 (Beach Bus to Mitchell's Bay and Erieau) WILL be running on Canada Day.

Emergency Services:  Police, Fire and Ambulance are operational 24 hours a day, every day, and are accessible by dialing "911" for emergency calls only.

CK Tickets: Box office will be closed.

Culture: The Thames Art Gallery, Chatham-Kent Museum and Milner Heritage House are open July 1 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and closed on July 2. ARTspace and the Cultural Centre will be closed July 1 & 2 with the exception that summer camps will be operating July 2 at the Cultural Centre. Ridge House Museum will be open from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m daily.

Entegrus and Public Utilities Commission: PUC will be closed. The emergency call number is 519-352-6300.

Health and Family Services Building: The Health and Family Services building will be closed on July 2, including the offices of Employment and Social Services, Housing Services, Child Care and Early Years Services and Public Health. The Employment Resource Centres located at 240 King St. W., Chatham and 786 Dufferin Avenue, Wallaceburg will be closed on July 2. The Chatham-Kent Homeless Response Line is available at 519-354-6628.

Public Health: Essential after-hours Public Health services are available by calling 1-866-446-8207. Public Health Clinic Services, located at 177 King St. E., Chatham will be closed July 2.

Riverview Gardens: Reception and administrative offices will be closed July 2, but services, activities and visiting hours continue as normal. Nursing staff can be reached 24/7 by calling 519-352-4823.

Libraries: All public libraries will be closed Monday July 2 and will have normal operational hours on Monday, July 3.

The Provincial Offences Court will be closed on Monday, July 2, regular business hours 8:30-4:30 p.m. will resume on Tuesday, July 3. 

Recreation Services: Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool is open July 1 from 1:30 – 4 p.m. for a free open swim. Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool and all outdoor pools are closed July 1. Regular summer hours will start July 2 at all outdoor pools and the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool. Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool will be closed for renovations until September 3.

Arenas: Bothwell Arena will be open for Canada Day celebration activities. All other arenas will be closed.

Waste and Recycling: Garbage and recycling collection services will not be affected by the holiday. Collection will be on your regular day during the week of July 2. Please refer to the Recycling and Waste Collection Guide for further details. The Harwich Transfer Station, Wallaceburg Transfer Station and Chatham Leaf & Yard Depot will be closed on Monday, July 2.  All other transfer stations will be open regular hours and will not be affected by the holiday.

Chatham-Kent Tourism: In observance of the Canada Day, our offices will be closed on Monday, July 2. To access visitor information at any time, please visit www.visitck.ca.

Admin and Garage Facilities will be closed at both these locations Monday July 2.
