They have been prepared in accordance with Canadian generally accepted accounting principles for local governments as recommended by the Public Sector Accounting Board of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
The Financial Department is responsible for establishing financial management practices for the Municipality, maintaining the central accounts and providing financial reports as required by Council, within the administration, and by external agencies.
