Raised in Tilbury, Melissa is an active community member who came back to Chatham-Kent after studying and working in other communities in Ontario. Her professional work has focused on policy development and evaluation, and more recently, health system innovation and change management. Her priorities as a Councillor are to make strategic decisions that focus on family needs in all stages, support growth both in our local economy and communities, and to remove barriers to success faced by business, community groups, and individuals. Melissa proudly roots her family and her garden in Jeanette's Creek. She is married to Kris, and they have three children: Jack, Liam, and Ruby.
