PA Day Events at CKPL

Chatham-Kent Public Library is your destination for PA Day Fun! Join us for fun activities at any open branch throughout Chatham-Kent.

 

April 28 PA Day Events:

Storytelling

10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Blenheim Branch

Drop-in during open hours for storytelling themed activities. Build your own puppet and act out a story with our puppet stage!

 

Spring Fling

10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Bothwell Branch

Celebrate Spring by dropping into the Bothwell Branch for some fun seasonal themed activities and crafts. Drop-in.

 

Can You Dig It?

9:30 am to 5:00 pm

Chatham Branch

Spring is in the air, so let’s dig in some dirt! Plant some seeds and explore the earth beneath your feet. All ages. Drop-in.

 

Monkey Madness

10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Dresden Branch

Crafts, games, scavenger hunts and a balance challenge. Drop-in.

 

Lego

10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Highgate Branch

Everyone is welcome to come get creative with our bins of LEGO! Drop-in, all ages.

 

Save the Animals!

12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Tilbury Branch

Go on a scavenger hunt to learn more about endangered birds and animals and how we can help save them.  Enter a draw to win a free book.  Take away an activity book and craft.

 

Sphero Bolts

12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Ridgetown Branch 

Sphero Bots have landed! Check out what these nifty robots can do. Sphero transforms the way kids in grades K–12 learn with a fun approach to STEAM (that's STEM + Art) and computer science. Drop-in. Ages 4+.

 

Tween/Teen Fun

1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Ridgetown Branch 

Tweens/Teens ages 9-16 are welcome to come be creative and make a woolen bookmark. Materials are supplied. Drop-in.

 

Superhero Training Academy

10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Wallaceburg Branch

Test your superhero powers as you make your way through various stations. Complete all 8 stations and receive your official Superhero Certificate. All ages welcome. Drop-in.
