Expansion of Connect CK Program at Chatham-Kent Public Library

In partnership with Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team (CKOHT), Chatham-Kent residents will now have more options to borrow wifi hotspots to access the internet from home.

CKPL is expanding the Connect CK collection to include Express wifi hotspots. These hotspots will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the following branches: Bothwell, Chatham, Highgate, Merlin, Thamesville, Wallaceburg, and Wheatley. Express hotspots are available to adult patrons (16+) with a valid library card in good standing and can be checked out for 7 days with no renewals or holds.

CKPL’s wifi hotspot lending program is part of ‘Connect CK’, an initiative aimed at reducing the digital divide for residents in CK. ‘Connect CK’ is a partnership between CKPL, Chatham-Kent Ontario Health Team (CKOHT) and Chatham-Kent Employment and Social Services (CKESS).
