Paying Rent During COVID-19

Paying Rent Electronically

If you pay rent electronically through automatic banking withdrawal or have rent directly paid by a social service agency, your rent payment will occur as usual.


Paying Rent through a Mail Drop Box

If you live in a building with an onsite Building Attendant and a mail dropbox, please place cheque payments in that dropbox. DO NOT leave cash payments in the mail dropbox. Remember, if you must speak with your Building Attendant, please use the telephone or entryway buzzer system.

Cheques can also be placed in mail drop slots (located at the front entrance) of your nearest Municipal Service Centre locations:


Paying Rent by Mail

You can mail a personal or certified cheque to:

DO NOT mail cash.


Paying Rent in Person

If you choose to pay rent in person using debit, cheque or cash, you have two location options:

All visitors to both locations will be screened for COVID-19. Strict cleaning practices and social distancing measures are in place to protect staff and visitors.
