Four Counties Transit Service
This service provides accessible and affordable transportation for senior and disabled persons in the Four Counties Area. This includes the Chatham-Kent communities of Bothwell, Orford, Thamesville, Ridgetown, and Zone.
Who is eligible?
Persons unable to walk a distance of 175 metres (575 feet) are eligible.

- Visit a friend
Who can sign an eligibility application?
You need a qualified health professional to sign an application.
How can I book a ride or request an application form?
Rides must be booked 24 hours in advance. Dispatcher is available for bookings Monday to Friday. To book a ride or request an application form call 519.693.8604 or long distance 1.800.724.3401.
After hours, leave a message on the answering machine, including your telephone number, so your ride can be confirmed.
What is the service area?
The service area includes:
- North from Alvinston, south to Lake Erie.
- West from Highgate, Ridgetown and Thamesville, east to Apin.
What is the cost?
Within the service area, the cost is $3.50 one-way ($7.00 return). Out of service area rides are priced according to contract.
