What Can I Do with a Virtual Library Card?

A virtual library card gives you access to:

*If you have already have a Chatham-Kent Public Library card, you have access to all of these online resources. If you want to learn more, visit your branch and staff will be happy to assist you. 

Who is Eligible for a Virtual Library Card? 

  • Residents of Chatham-Kent over the age of 16
  • Members of Sarnia-Lambton, Essex, Elgin, St. Thomas or Middlesex libraries

Want to Upgrade Your Virtual Library Card?

A virtual library card is exclusively for the use of electronic resources offered by Chatham-Kent Public Library. Full Chatham-Kent Public Library cards grant you access to all of CKPL's virtual resources and also include borrowing privileges for physical items as well as internet access at any branch.  

Your virtual library card can be upgraded by visiting any CKPL branch and presenting identification showing name and address.
