CKPL's Internet Access Policy provides internet use guidelines and information about privacy, content filtering, internet use by children, printing, downloading and wireless access. Patrons using the library's public network agree to abide by the Internet Access Policy.
Public Access Computers
A valid CKPL library card is required to use any public computer in the library. Out of town guests may obtain temporary computer access by presenting photo identification.
To ensure access to as many users as possible, patrons are allowed a daily maximum of one hour. Time limits may be extended depending on user demand and computer availability. Please ask staff if you would like additional time.
All public computers will be logged off 10 minutes prior to closing to allow for nightly security and maintenance procedures.
Printing is available from the public access computers.
Express computers are available at the Chatham and Tilbury branches. Use of an express computer is limited to 15 minutes.
