In partnership with Employment and Social Services, Chatham-Kent Public Library can help connect you with community services through the Community Navigator program.
The Community Navigator program serves all Chatham-Kent Public Library patrons through our 11 branch library system - all you need is a library card! With the help of a Community Navigator, CKPL can:
provide one-on-one instruction in accessing government, social and health services online
assist with completing online forms and applications
help with referrals to community agencies,
- provide employment support and referrals to employment support agencies
help to identifying continuing learning opportunities based on your individual needs
RentSmart Tenant Education Program
RentSmart is a training program to teach individuals how to be good tenants, how to budget, and look after a home. As well as how to communicate with landlords, neighbours, roommates, and others.

Financial Screening available to assist with the cost of Photo ID or Birth Certificate Assistance with applying for Birth Certificate (from all provinces). Service Canada can issue Social Insurance Numbers, Personal Access Codes or answer questions about Canada Pension Plan or Old Age Security.
To make an appointment with a Community Ontario Seniors Dental Care Program designed to support
low-income seniors with services such as check-up; repairing broken teeth,
cavities, x-rays, oral surgery, etc.
Navigator, please contact your local branch for information on available appointments or you can contact a Community Navigator directly. Community
Navigators are available to assist eligible seniors 65 years or older with
