Every Gift Makes a Difference
When you donate to Chatham-Kent Public Library, you are making a difference in our community. With your help, we can continue to grow our library services. Every gift, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and makes a difference for the citizens of Chatham-Kent.
The Great Canadian Giving Challenge
What is the Great Canadian Giving Challenge? It is a national public contest to benefit any registered Canadian charity. Every dollar donated online through CanadaHelps! to Chatham-Kent Public Library during the month of June enters CKPL in a chance to win $10,000! The grand draw is on Canada Day and only lucky charity will receive the grand prize of $10,000. Click below to give the gift of growing your local library!
One Time and Monthly Donations
Give to CKPL online through CanadaHelps. You can choose to either make a one time or monthly donation. By choosing to make regular monthly contributions, you provide us with a gift that allows us to plan and build based on your continued support.
CanadaHelps accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal and provides tax receipts.
The Literary Angels Program
The Literary Angels Programs accepts donations from patrons to purchase library materials in honour of others. A gift from The Literary Angels Program is perfect for those who love books, reading and libraries! Celebrate a special friend or teacher or dedicate a title as a memorial tribute.
With a recommended donation of $25, staff select an appropriate title. A bookplate identifying the recipient, donor and the occasion will be paced inside the front cover.
We will notify the honoree of whomever you desire to inform them of the gift you have made to CKPL so they can borrow the item. Tax receipts for donations over $10 are mailed at year end.
There are two ways to donate. The first is to visit any branch and pick up a form. The second is by donating online. Donations received online will receive a tax receipt from CanadaHelps.
Donations, bequests and gifts given through Planned Giving help to ensure CKPL's ability to provide excellent service to the communities of Chatham-Kent for generations to come. Please see our
Planned Giving Policy for further information or contact us at 519.354.2940 x240.
