Join Jackie from EarlyON and Jessica from CKPL for songs, rhymes and stories for children ages 0-3 and their caregiver. Please bring a blanket to sit on. Registration not required.

Bad Art

Leave your talent at home and make some really ugly art. We'll provide the supplies, you provide the badness. Ages 16+ Registration not required.

World Of Wellness

Storytime

Ages 2, 3 & 4. Children, parents and caregivers will enjoy stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, rhythm instruments and crafts. Registration required. 

Reading Buddies

Date: Thursday, November 14, 21, 28 and December 5, 12 & 19
Time: Appointment times: 6:00 pm / 6:30 pm / 7:00 pm

Reading Buddies offer free one-on-one assistance to children in grades 1 through 6 who would like practice reading. Volunteers spend 30 minutes with each child encouraging and motivating them to read using literacy-based games, activities and high-interest readers. Registration required.

Downtown Wallaceburg Holiday Open House: "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year"

ID Clinic

Appointments are available on a First Come First Serve Basis. Financial screening available to assist with the cost of Photo ID or Birth Certificate. Assistance with applying for Birth Certificate. Service Canada can issue Social Insurance Numbers, Personal Access Codes or answer questions about Canada Pension Plan or Old Age Security.

Adult Colouring and Puzzles

Date: Wednesdays
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm 
Ages: Open to all

What a great way to spend a few minutes or hours! Colouring is a great way to de-stress and relax. Open to everyone ages 16 and older. We even provide the materials! We have a large poster to complete that reads, "Love Your Library." Drop in. 

Scrabble Club

Date: Wednesday afternoons 
Time: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

How do you spell fun? S-C-R-A-B-B-L-E! Drop in to the Wallaceburg Branch for a friendly game. All skills levels are welcome. Bring your own board or borrow one from the library. Registration is not required.

Chicks with Sticks

Date: Thursday afternoons
Time: 1:30 to 3:00 pm 

Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn how? Join us every Thursday afternoon to trade patterns, give suggestions or to learn how to knit or crochet. Always something different for the change in season!

Group / School Visits

Class visits or group visits are always welcome at the Wallaceburg Branch. Come for a visit, browse the books, find out about our free databases or participate in a program designed just for you.
