National Novel Writing Month LogoEvery year thousands participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), the worldwide challenge of completing a 50,000 word novel between November 1 and November 30. All month long, CKPL's Chatham Branch will open up its board room to aspiring writers in support of NaNoWriMo.

This program is for all writers looking for some inspiration, a quiet place to work or a chance to meet other "Wrimos." Come Write In will be offered on November 4, 18 and 25 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

As a part of CKPL's NaNoWriMo celebrations, Chatham-Kent Public Library is also hosting a writing workshop with author Christa Simpson.  Join us Wednesday, November 13 at 6:30 pm at the Chatham Branch as Christa offers tips for surviving and succeeding during NaNoWriMo.  Christa will also be available to help with any lingering questions about your current writing project.

Grab some coffee, bring your ideas and write your novel at CKPL!
