To celebrate the grand finale of the 2019 CK Reads program, Chatham-Kent Public Library (CKPL) welcomes the New York Times number one bestselling author, Kelley Armstrong, to the Kiwanis Theatre (75 William St. N) on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 pm. Enjoy an afternoon with the author and join in a lively discussion about "City of the Lost
". Kelley will also be available to sign copies of her books.
In January, CKPL launched its third annual "One Book, One Community" project CK Reads. CK Reads encourages residents throughout the Municipality of Chatham-Kent to read the same book, "City of the Lost," and come together as a community to explore its themes and issues in a variety of settings. "City of the Lost" is a crime thriller set in the wilderness of the Yukon.
Kelley Armstrong is a bestselling author who lives in southwestern Ontario. "City of the Lost" is book one in Kelley's popular "Rockton Series
". Kelley has been telling stories since before she could write. Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon.
