Q. My company has multiple hiring managers and HR departments – can we create more than one Employer Account on the Community Job Board?
A. Yes – there's no limit to the number of accounts that a company can create on the job board.
Q. I am the person responsible for submitting jobs to the job board at my company; however, we would like applicants to submit their resumes to a different contact within the company – is there any way to include the email contact information for this person within the job posting?
A. Yes. When creating a job posting, you will notice two email fields: a Personal Email field and a Business Email field. Input the email address of the person responsible for collecting applications in the Business Email field. In the How to Apply section of the form, select the By Email option to make this your preferred method of application submission.
Q. My company uses an online application tool to collect resumes and applications. Is there any way to link directly to this area of my company website in my job posting?
A. Yes. You can embed a link to an online application form within the Job Description area of your job posting. For more detailed instructions, see the instructions within the New Community Job Posting Form.
Q. I don't have time to post a job to the job board. Can I just email the job description to someone within the municipality to post?
A. Yes! Please contact us, send your job descriptions and we will post your job opportunity for you.
Q. What happens when my job expires on the job board?
A. Once your job expires, it will be archived in your Employer Account. You can reactive this job and republish it to the job board at any time by simply updating the Activation, Removal, and Closing dates of the job opportunity.
Q. I've forgotten my Employer Account password. Is there a way to retrieve it?
A. Yes. Simply visit the Employer Login page and review the "Forget Password" section for further assistance.
Q. When I attempt to login in my username or password is not accepted/recognized.
A. You must ensure that the password is at least 8 characters long.
