The "A.L.L. (Activity, Leisure, Lessons) For Kids" program covers the cost of extra-curricular activities for children whose parents could otherwise not afford it. The program has financially supported the activities of approximately 1,000 children per year since its inception in 2001.
Extra-curricular activities helps to prepare for future life experiences by developing all areas of the child - physical, social, emotional and cognitive. Unfortunately, most activities have costs that prohibit a portion of our population from participating.
The need of the program almost always outweighs the money available and often the program has a waiting list.
Parents are screened for financial need prior to the children receiving assistance. Once approved, children are allowed two extra-curricular sessions of activities per year. The program is very flexible in what the child can take and choices include, but are not limited to: house-league sports (such as hockey, baseball, soccer, martial arts, archery, horse back riding), camps (such as summer day camps and overnight camps), art lessons, music lessons, Girl Guides, Scouts, etc.
An official donation letter will be issued for any amount over $20.
100% of donations to A.L.L. for Kids go directly to the kids activities – administration costs are NEVER deducted from donations.
