Mitchell's Bay is truly a haven for fishing no matter what time of year. In the winter, ice fishing is a sight in its own right, as huts fill the bay along with those braving the cold elements. Throughout the rest of the year, surrounding the Bay you will find several boat launches and tackle shops to get you ready for the water with plenty of lodging for overnight fishing trips.

In July, residents and visitors alike can enjoy the Antique Car, Truck, Tractor and Bike Show, while angler's can take part in the annual Canadian Tire Mitchell's Bay Open.
