The Chatham Capitol Theatre boasts shows both big and small, sure to please the any theatrical or musical palate. Chatham-Kent's only boutique hotel RetroSuites is located downtown, and a must see if you haven't experienced their incredible hospitality already. Also downtown, take advantage of craft beer, good food and great conversation at Sons of Kent, located inside the old Cinema 6. 

In the summer, the downtown is a hub of activity with RetroFest as classic cars line the streets and Chatham is transformed into the Classic Car Capitol of Canada". 

Chatham is also a VIA Rail stop, so you can easily get in and out of the municipality. While there, learn more about the history of railroads in the region at the Chatham Railroad Museum. Take a tour of the BME Freedom Park and learn about the rich history of the Underground Railroad, and make a visit to the Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum, on King Street, inside the WISH Centre. 

Seasonally, you can take in curling at the Chatham Granite Club or take in a hockey game, do some recreational skating or even swimming at one of the municipality's ten area arenas and recreational facilities.

On the outskirts of Chatham, rural roads will take you to the likes of Early Acres Estate Winery where you can sample wines and tour the gorgeous vineyard. 

Also just outside of Chatham, discover the history of the Underground Railroad at the Buxton National Historic Site & Museum
