Seniors Advisory Committee
The Seniors Advisory Committee was established to provide recommendations and advice to Council on the needs of the seniors in their communities.
The purpose of the Committee is to educate and advise Council and community partners regarding ongoing, new, and/or priorities to matters of the quality of life of Senior Residents of The Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Desired Outcomes/Proposed Activities
The desired outcomes and proposed activites of the committee are:
- To foster health and wellness among seniors and baby boomers by developing programs and services to support health in an aging population
- To nurture and support volunteer activity
