Chatham-Kent Public Library Launches Curbside Service at Wallaceburg Branch
While library buildings remain closed by provincial order, Chatham-Kent Public Library is pleased to announce that Curbside Service to library patrons will begin this week at the Wallaceburg Branch.
Curbside Service was launched at Chatham Branch on Tuesday June 16. Over 75 patrons picked up their holds in the first three days!
Pickup will be available outside the Wallaceburg branch by appointment only. Patrons can go online if they have holds waiting and book their appointment. Visit search.ckpl.ca and search for “Wallaceburg Curbside Service” to make an appointment. In the next few weeks, CKPL will expand curbside service to Ridgetown and Tilbury branches. More details and information will be coming shortly.
The health and safety of the library team and the public is important to us, so precautions will be in practice to keep everyone safe. If you are unwell, CKPL asks that you cancel your appointment and keep library materials at home for a 2 week period. No library fines are being charged during Curbside Service.
Follow CKPL on social media and watch CKPL’s website for information on placing new holds on library materials and how to book your timeslot for pickup. If you don’t have internet access, you can call CKPL for information at 519.627.5292 – please note with limited staff, phones will be answered as time permits. Thank you for being patient as we adapt to our new level of service.
