MEDIA RELEASE

Chatham-Kent Public Library Expands Curbside Service

While library buildings remain closed, Chatham-Kent Public Library is pleased to announce that Curbside Service to library patrons is now available at the Ridgetown, Tilbury, Wallaceburg and Chatham branches.

Since Curbside Service was launched at Chatham Branch on June 16, patrons have already picked up almost 3,000 holds!

Pickup is available outside the branch by appointment only. If you have holds ready for pickup, visit search.ckpl.ca and search for “Curbside Service” to make an appointment.

The health and safety of the library team and the public is important to us, so precautions are in practice to keep everyone safe. If you are unwell, CKPL asks that you cancel your appointment and keep library materials at home for a 2 week period. Library fines are not being charged during Curbside Service.

Follow CKPL on social media and watch CKPL’s website for information on placing new holds on library materials and how to book your timeslot for pickup. To stay up to date with the latest news at CKPL, please log onto your account and update or add your email address. If you don’t have internet access, you can call CKPL for information at 519.354.2940.
