Remembrance Day Municipal Holiday Hours

 

Municipal offices and most services will be closed Wednesday, November 11 in recognition of Remembrance Day.  
       
Other services are scheduled as follows: 
 
Cemetery Operations: Cemetery staff will be on call for funeral homes who require at-need sales.

CK Transit: Services will be operating normal business hours on Wednesday, November 11.

Emergency Services:  Police, Fire and Ambulance are operational 24 hours a day, every day, and are accessible by dialing “911” for emergency calls only. The fire administration office will be closed.
  
Arts and Culture Services: The Chatham Capitol Theatre and Cultural Centre Administration Offices, CK Tickets Box Office, Thames Art Gallery, Chatham-Kent Museum, ARTspace, Milner Heritage House and Ridge House Museum will be closed.

Entegrus and Public Utilities Commission: PUC will be closed. The emergency call number is 519-352-6300.

The office of Fleet Services (PABC) will be closed on Wednesday, November 11.

Health and Family Services Building: The Health and Family Services building will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, including the offices of Employment and Social Services, Housing Services, Child Care and Early Years, and Public Health. The Employment Resource Centres located at 240 King St. W., Chatham and 786 Dufferin Avenue, remain closed. The Chatham-Kent Homeless Response Line is available at 519-354-6628.

EarlyON All EarlyON programs are closed on Wednesday, November 11.
 
Libraries: All public libraries will be closed Wednesday, November 11.

Public Health Clinic Services: Essential after-hours Public Health services are available by calling 1-866-446-8207. Public Health Clinic Services, located at 177 King St. E., Chatham will be closed.

Provincial Offences Court: POC will be closed on Wednesday, November 11. 

Recreation Services: Blenheim Gable Reese Rotary Pool will be open with normal operational hours on Wednesday, November 11. Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will be closed.

Arenas: All arenas will be open for scheduled rentals.

Riverview Gardens: Reception and administrative offices will be closed Nursing staff can be reached 24/7 by calling 519-352-4823.
 
Waste and Recycling: Garbage and recycling collection services for the week of November 9 are not affected. Collection will be on your regular day. Please refer to the Recycling and Waste Collection Guide for further details. All Transfer Stations and the Chatham Leaf & Yard Depot will be open regular hours and will not be affected by the holiday.

Chatham-Kent Tourism: In observance of Remembrance Day, offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11. To access visitor information at any time, please go to   visitck.ca
