Where did you grow up?
Chatham, ON.
What was your first job?
Working as a bus-boy at Smitty’s Family Restaurant at the age of 14.
What is your favourite Chatham-Kent pastime?
I’ve played soccer in the summer for as long as I can remember, and I still do.
What is your favourite season?
Spring. I love all the trees and it isn’t hot yet.
Who was your local inspiration/role model?
David A. McLean. During my high school co-op term at David A. McLean and Associates, Dave was a great mentor and encouraged me (and many others) to pursue Engineering.
What did you do after high school?
I studied Engineering at the University of Waterloo. After graduation, I lived in France for 6 months, then moved to Denver. We stayed in Denver for almost seven years before returning to CK.
What are you doing now?
I am Vice President of Guspro Inc.
Why did you come back to Chatham-Kent?
Family. We have two young children and both sets of grandparents live in the CK area. I also came back to join Guspro, which is a family business.
Why live Chatham-Kent?
The size of the community - I get to enjoy the amenities, without the traffic
This is a great place to raise kids - I don’t need to worry about their safety, and Kingston Park in Chatham is close to where I live.
