Comments on cause: Station #1 & #2 - Chatham responded to a fire at 8 Ingram St yesterday evening just after 5pm. When the crews arrived on scene there was smoke coming from the door frame and front window of one of the apartment units. There were no injuries. The fire started from a cigarette which was not properly extinguished.
