Comments on cause: Firefighters from station 7 - Chatham South responded to fire at an animal rescue center just before midnight on Brook Line. Stations 4, 5 & 6 also attended to assist. No personal injuries. Cause is unknown, damage is 400K. Firefighters saved many animals from the fire, unfortunately it is not known at this time how many animals were lost.
