The future of local and provincial health care is about to undergo another wave of enhanced patient care thanks to upcoming advanced initiatives being developed by TransForm Shared Service Organization, Chatham-Kent’s health care technology and innovation leader. In order to help ensure that TransForm successfully designs and implements their plans, they are actively expanding their staff by hiring between 50 and 60 new employees.
“2019 is going to be a busy year for everyone at TransForm and we need to add more highly skilled people to our team in order to help us deliver on our strategies,” said Michelle Watters, Director of Stakeholder Relations, People and Performance. “For example, we are in discussions about undertaking a major clinical transformation project that supports an integrated care model and puts patients first.”
TransForm is actively looking for a wide selection of professional staff members to work in Chatham-Kent, Sarnia/Lambton, and Windsor/Essex.
“We need people with a variety of backgrounds including clinical expertise, project management, and Information Technology,” said Jackie Deane-Couture, Manager of Human Resources. “There are roles within all levels of our organization that we are looking to fill from specialists, to senior positions, and management.”
Deane-Couture added “we offer a competitive salary and benefits as part of the strategy to attract top talent. We also strive to be a preferred employer in the community.”
TransForm was founded by five hospitals across the Erie St. Clair region and has a robust history in creating unique, innovative, and results-driven solutions that offer their clients a broad range of integrated services and back office support in the areas of Information Technology/Information Management, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
“We are passionate about making health care better for everyone – patients, caregivers, and providers,” said Watters. “In conversations with my colleagues they quite often tell me ‘I love working at TransForm because I can make a difference‘, and it’s that kind of feeling which inspires us every day.”
Chatham-Kent has become a hub for regional health care delivery thanks to a variety of advantages including being strategically located within the heart of Southwestern Ontario, ensuring a business-ready environment with excellent access to solid infrastructure, and attracting highly skilled people thanks to affordable and high-quality lifestyle options.
“The health care industry is an important employer in Chatham-Kent and we always look forward to celebrating the good news when an organization such as TransForm creates more professional jobs in our region,” said Stuart McFadden, Director of Chatham-Kent Economic Development. “TransForm is another example of an innovative forward-thinking Chatham-Kent business that is bringing about dynamic change locally and across the world.”
