Opening Day for New Chatham Business Express Employment Professionals

Chatham-Kent Economic Development and the Small Business Centre welcomes Express Employment Professionals, a new business to Chatham-Kent. The business, which opened their doors to the public today, May 13, 2019, is part of a group of over 800 franchise locations across Canada and the United States. Express Employment Professionals core business focus is to help people find jobs and provide workforce solutions to businesses.

“It’s day one and we are hitting the road to let businesses know that we are ready to help them with all of their staffing needs,“ said Usman Qureshi, Owner of Express Employment Professionals. “We have a four pillar care promise of being approachable, professional, compassionate, and driven and I stand behind this promise because it is the heart of our business.”

Express provides a full range of employment solutions that include full-time, temporary, and part-time employment in a wide range of positions, including professional, light industrial, and office services.

“Businesses need to know that we can save them time finding and hiring the right staff, reduce costs by offering flexible staffing options that can reduce factors such as overtime, and most importantly help keep operations up and running by ensuring they have staff available to maintain productivity,” said Qureshi. “We are not just any staffing company, we are a business partner that will strive to provide top talent in a timely and flexible manner.”

“Usman and I have been working through a variety of topics including planning for his business, site selection, and making key decisions over the past several months, so today marks a momentous occasion for him,” said Taylor Hughes, Economic Development Officer with Chatham-Kent Economic Development. “Usman has been great to work with and he is very driven to make the business a success. I wish him and his team all the best and I look forward to continuing to provide business advice.”

A key part of the equation for Express is connecting with people looking for employment. Whether job seekers are building a new career or looking for a short-term job to supplement their income, they can rely on the experts at Express to provide no-fee employment opportunities.

“Ours is an industry that is built on great people and helping those people find work in all types of jobs. We are absolutely open to anyone applying to become a job seeker with us,” said Qureshi. “Everyone is welcome to stop by our new location at 403 Queen Street in Chatham or call us at 519-397-4555.”
