Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce and the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board, along with Chatham-Kent Economic Development, are pleased to congratulate Maple City Homes for being the Feature Industry for the month for May, 2019. The award was presented this Friday, May 17, at the site of new construction at 610 Daylight Point in Chatham.
Established in January of 2017, Maple City Homes is celebrating their third spring construction season with a flourish of activity across four construction sites including Daylight Point, Horizon Lane, and Moonstone Crescent with more than 370 lots currently in development.
“Our local housing market is setting record sales levels with homes selling at rapid speed. Maple City Homes is providing a great contribution to Chatham-Kent’s housing needs by building homes at a variety of price points and with an array of styles,” said Gail Hundt, President & CEO of the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce. “The creations of Maple City Homes, along with the workmanship of their related trades, showcase an impressive collection of housing options.”
Led by a team of five including Robb Nelson, President, Gilles Michaud, Vice President, and partners Darryl Clarke, Trevor Mailloux, and Kim O’Rourke Nelson, Maple City Homes currently employs 8 staff members. In addition, they support a variety of businesses by working with over 30 local contractors on their extensive building projects.
