Chatham-Kent Economic Development is looking for input from businesses across Chatham-Kent on their needs for accessing fibre Internet. Through an online survey which is open to all businesses, Economic Development is hoping to develop a list of hotspots
"We are looking to understand how to best create a strong fibre network that can serve as a backbone to our growing technology sector in Chatham-Kent" said Stuart McFadden, Acting Director, Chatham-Kent Economic Development Services. "This is an opportunity for local businesses to have direct input into identifying the hotspots in the community and helping to make our region an even better place to invest."
In addition to improved Internet upload and download speeds, there are many advantages to fibre Internet such as improved reliability, more stable connections, higher bandwidth caps, lower latency speeds, and enhanced security. These advantages provide businesses with new opportunities when it comes to building technology-based solutions into their companies.
The survey, which will be available until noon on Thursday, July 19, 2018, can be found online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3NHK9LB
