Winter Program Guide
The Winter Edition of the Program Guide is ready! Find information on Ice Babes, Start Smart Soccer, swim lessons, Parent & Tot swimming, pool schedules and upcoming events.

Winter Programs

Ice Babes - A great way for your child to learn how to skate by completing five levels of skating skills. Level 1 is available in Chatham and Wallaceburg. Levels 2-5 are held in Chatham. Starts January 9.

Start Smart Soccer - Learn the basics of soccer through FUNdamental games, obstacles, and a mini-soccer game each week. Two sessions are available this winter. Starts January 19.

Fit Kids - A great fitness program for young children, this program teaches basic movement patterns through music, exercise and play. Children develop strength, flexibility and coordination. Starts January 10.

Red Cross Swim Preschool

Swim Lessons for Preschool are always available. Visit the Gable Rees Rotary Pool in Blenheim or Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool for more information.


Children's Fitness Tax Credit

In 2007, the Government of Canada initiated a tax credit to allow parents of children under 16 years of age to claim certain physical activity enrolment fees paid during each calendar year, up to a maximum of $500 per year, per child.

Please retain your receipt for your records. An administration fee of $10.00 will be charged on requests for duplicate or replacement receipts.
