Wallaceburg Docks

A leisurely 1 1/2 hour trip from the St. Clair River down the Chenal Ecarte; Walpole Island Bridge opens on the hour daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. Time your journey to arrive 10 minutes to the hour.

Enter the Sydenham River at the forks, continuing to Wallaceburg Municipal Docks. Baseline Road Bridge, Lord Selkirk Bridge and Walking Bridge are open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Please note: these bridges are closed from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm as a result of heavy traffic conditions. The bridge operator can be reached by calling 519.627.6042 between the hours of 7:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday.  After hours or weekends the bridge operator can be reached by cell phone 519.359.0935 or marine band radio channel 68 which is monitored during regular hours of operation.

Located on the Sydenham River, these docks are open mid-May to Labour Day.

Hours of Operation

Wallaceburg Dock Attendants will be on duty:

May 16th -  August 28th:                                       

Monday through Thursday 7:30 am-4:30 pm

Friday 7:30 am-9:00 pm

Saturday 7:30 am-9:00 pm

Sunday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

If you are arriving at a time when dock attendants are not on duty, staff at the Wallaceburg Municipal Centre front desk will be happy to assist you.  They are not on VHF radio, but are on duty from Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm.

Docking Rates (in Canadian Funds)

• Friday to Sunday $.90 CAD per linear foot per night
• Pump-out - $8.00

When rafting-off, all boats are charged full docking fees for use of power, water and washroom facilities. All fees are in Canadian dollars. Rates do not include HST.

Reservations

Reservations are gladly accepted and are recommended for your visit to Wallaceburg. Your reservation can be held with a valid Visa, Mastercard or American Express card.  Specific locations are taken on a request basis and accommodated whenever possible. Reservations can only be held until 6:00 pm on the day of arrival without advance notification of later arrival time. Cancellations accepted up to 24 hours prior to arrival, otherwise the full docking fees are charged.
