Introduction to Kiwanis Theatre

Thank you for visiting.  In order to serve you better, new web sites for the Cultural Centre, Kiwanis Theatre, Thames Art Gallery, Milner Heritage House, Ridge House Museum, and Chatham-Kent Museum  are currently in development.  In order to bridge the timing of the delivery of the new sites, please visit our temporary www.theculturalcentre.com .


The Kiwanis Theatre is a 679 seat theatre that hosts a variety of events including music, theatre, dance, films, business meetings and much more.

Administration Hours
Monday to Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Box Office Hours
By Phone – Monday to Saturday 10:00AM – 6:00PM  — 519.354.8338 or 1.866.807.7770
Counter Service – Monday to Friday 10:00AM – 6:00PM — 75 William St. N., Chatham
1 hour prior to curtain on performance days

Hearing Aid Devices
Devices are provided to Theatre patrons. Please identify your need to the Box Office 24 hours in advance.

Parking
Parking is provided free of charge. There are 2 parking lots: the largest one is located via William Street North and the other via Murray Street.  There is plenty of on-street parking however make sure you check allowable times to park.  The Cultural Centre is not responsible for parking tickets while you are visiting.

Picnic Areas
Enjoy the many picnic areas, located across the street in beautiful Tecumseh Park.

Public Telephone
A pay telephone is located via the William Street North entrance.

Public Transportation
There is a bus stop located near the Cultural Centre parking lot on William Street North. The main downtown bus terminal is located within walking distance of the Cultural Centre.

Washrooms
There are washrooms located throughout the Cultural Centre including the 1st floor of the Museum, the 2nd floor of the Gallery and the lower level in the Theatre.  There is a wheelchair accessible washroom located in the main lobby of the Cultural Centre and in the Museum. 

Wheelchair
Access to the use of a wheelchair during your visit is available.  Please make arrangements through the Box Office.

Wheelchair Accessibility
Yes, the Museum and Gallery are both wheelchair accessible through the Murray Street entrance.  Please enter via the parking lot off of William Street North if you are visiting the Box Office or the Kiwanis Theatre.

Wheelchair Seating
Wheelchair seating is available in the Kiwanis Theatre. Please refer to the Theatre seating plan for exact locations. Please call the Box Office to pre-arrange.
