Goal: To identify and act on health hazards and to ensure community health protection during a health hazard.

Goal: To develop effective, efficient programs based on local community health information.

Goal: To contribute to prevention and early detection of chronic diseases, a major cause of death and disability. Misuse of alcohol and other substances contribute to development of chronic diseases and to injuries, which are the leading cause of death in children, youth and young adults.
