GIS Implementation Project Scope |

The implementation plan for the enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) project describes the project scope required to implement the enterprise GIS. The activities have been grouped into a series of projects in each of the major data, technology and organizational areas. In some cases, the associated timeframes are based on an estimated level of effort, however for other activities the time frame represents the period during which the particular activity should be addressed. Finally an overall budget is determined using the costs for external resources and GIS technology.
