The Municipality of Chatham-Kent GIS department houses an electronic warehouse of geographic data. This geographic database can provide agencies with aerial photos and GIS information about properties, addresses, buildings, streets, structures and 911 information.
To submit a GIS data request for projects that are happening within the boundaries of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, follow the process under one of the following links:

Do you have a contract with the Municipality?

You must be contracted with the Municipality
- E-mail ckgis@chatham-kent.ca and include the following information:
- the project name
- Municipal contact
- Length of project (start to finish)
- Name and contact information for the person who has signing authority
- What data you require for the project

A completed Data Use Agreement will be forwarded to you to be signed

Once the signed Data Use Agreement is returned we will provide the data requested (10 business days)

Upon completion of the project, the consultant is responsible to destroy all source data and, as per terms of contract with the Municipality, submit any digital data created as part of the project

Renewable Energy Requests
Instructions for Renewable Energy companies.
- E-mail ckgis@chatham-kent.ca and include the following:
- the project name
- Length of project (start to finish)
- Name and contact information for the person who has signing authority
- What data you require for the project
- If requesting property boundaries or data the Municipality would coordinate between Renewable Energy Group and Ontario Parcel Group to arrange contracts and fee schedules
- A completed Data Use Agreement will be forwarded to you to be signed.
- Once the signed Data Use Agreement is received we will provide the data requested (10 business days)
- Renewable Energy companies will be billed the price specified by the Ontario Parcel Group

a) Single Line Road Network (SLRN)
b) Municipal Addresses
c) Major Watercourses
