The Chatham-Kent Lambton Administrator’s Group (CKLAG) is represented by ten publicly-funded organizations from education, health and municipal government within Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton. CKLAG’s goal is to save public tax dollars and create efficiencies in our respective organizations by sharing policies, expertise, advice, staff development, materials and resources.
Currently the CKLAG Information Technology Committee is concentrating its time on the joint planning and purchasing process for a Wide Area Network (WAN) Request for Proposal (RFP). The Wide Area Network upgrade will provide improved network speed and efficiencies to Chatham-Kent’s Service Centre’s, Libraries and Public Works Office’s to serve the citizens of Chatham-Kent better. It is expected that the WAN Project will begin in early 2005 and complete by mid 2006.
