Audio Webcast of Council Meetings Now Available
For Immediate Release
October 15, 2007
Beginning on Monday, October 15th, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent will be offering live and archived audio webcasting of council meetings from the Community of Chatham-Kent Portal www.chatham-kent.ca.
With the use of a home computer and internet access, residents can listen to live and archived council and planning meetings from the comfort of their own home. High-speed internet access is not required in order to use the service.
Monday evenings will offer the live webcast of the current council session. The archived version of the council meeting will be available by 9:00 am the following morning and will remain available for listeners until the next council meeting.
The link for the audio webcast can be found on the Council meetings page within the Community of Chatham-Kent portal or by typing in the direct address www.chatham-kent.ca/councilmeetings.
Council meetings are normally held on Monday evenings beginning at 6:00 pm. Please visit the council meetings page to review meeting dates and agendas.
