Parks Section
The Parks section operates 312 acres of active and passive parkland for recreational use within the communities of Chatham, Pain Court, Grande Point and Mitchell's Bay. Providing maintenance and support to the facilities listed below, as well as various walking trails and pathways.
Cemeteries Section
The Cemeteries section is responsible for six major active cemeteries within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. We are also responsible for 54 Pioneer and abandoned cemeteries within the same geographic area.
The Cemeteries Central Office is located at the Park Avenue Business Centre.
Hours of Visitation in all Municipal Cemeteries are sunrise to sunset.

Horticulture Section
The Horticulture Section of Parks, Cemeteries & Horticulture grows 60 thousand annuals and perennials in 10,000 square feet of greenhouse. The plants are used in 76 flower beds and 91 flower boxes, as well as 250 hanging baskets located throughout the Municipality. Under the guidance of the Horticulture section, Communities In Bloom was first introduced to Chatham-Kent and continues to provide expertise and direction to the many horticulture volunteer initiatives.
