Skate Park Development Project

Skateparks are now complete in the following communities:

Dresden: Stranak/McVean Park between the baseball diamond and the playground equipment -- completed summer 2005.

Tilbury:  Memorial Park on Stewart St. -- completed summer 2005.

Wallaceburg:  Glen Mickle Park (between the old tennis courts and the playground equipment/concession stand) -- completed summer 2005.

Wheatley:  Wheatlely Area Sports Complex beside the arena -- completed summer 2005.

Bothwell: in Victoria Park -- completed summer 2004.


Erieau:  Mariner's Road (near the ball diamond) -- completed summer 2006.

Chatham
:  425 Grand Ave West (between Crabby Joe's and Burger King) -- completed November, 2006. 

Skateboarding facilities are also available in Thamesville, Ridgetown, and Blenheim.  More details can be found by clicking on the green "Recreation & Tourism" tab at the top of this page.  Choose "Sports" then "Skateboarding".
