Chatham-Kent Council has appointed former CK Energy President/CEO Ray Payne as the Interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent during the search for a full-time CAO. Ray Payne Prior to his leadership at CK Energy, Ray was the general manager of Wallaceburg Hydro from 1994 until amalgamation in 1998, when he became general manager of the Chatham-Kent Public Utilities Commission. Ray is an accomplished administrator who knows Chatham-Kent and is very well regarded in our community. Ray has come out of retirement to once again serve Chatham-Kent’s citizens. His current responsibility is to guide the municipal administration in serving Chatham-Kent’s citizens by pursuing Council's Strategic Directions and Goals 2011-2014 and by continually improving municipal services.
