Exact Fare Policy

Exact fare is required on all Chatham Conventional Transit Bus Routes. Drivers do not carry change.

Transfer Policy

A valid transfer is accepted as full fare on all Chatham Conventional Transit Bus Routes. Transfers must be requested at the time the fare is paid and must be used by the person to whom it was issued. A transfer can be used to provide single fare payment for connections between two points not served by a single route. Transfers will continue to take place at the Downtown Terminal. Transfers may be made, where possible at other points within the Chatham Transit Service Area.

Multi-Ride Cards - 22 rides per card

The costs of the Multi-Ride cards, which consist of 22 rides per card, are $35.00 for adults and $27.00 for students and senior citizens.

Multi-Ride Cards (under 5 years) - 30 rides per card

The costs of the Multi-Ride cards for children under 5 years of age, which consist of 30 rides per card, are $22.50, when accompanied by a paying passenger.

You hand the card to the driver as you board the bus; he then punches your card each time you first board the system. Regular Transfers will be issued if requested at the time of boarding. The pass is transferable and its use is not limited to the purchaser.

  • Downtown Chatham Centre - Infoplace
  • Shopper's Drug Mart - Nortown Plaza on St. Clair Street
  • Shopper's Drug Mart - Queen Street
  • Shopper's Drug Mart - Thameslea Plaza on Grand Avenue
  • Zeller's - Thameslea Plaza on Grand Avenue
  • Active Lifestyles Centre - Merritt Avenue
  • Petro Can Station - corner of Grand Avenue W and St. Clair Street
