Who should use these Policies & Procedures?
The Policies & Procedures shown below are applicable to Chatham-Kent social housing providers currently funded by the Municipality. On behalf of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, a special thank you is extended to the Social Housing Advisory Group members for their policy input and recommendations to the Service Manager.
Each policy includes a "Legal/Cross Reference" section that shows the legislative or legal basis for the policy. The policies are based on any one or more of the following: Social Housing Reform Act (SHRA), Ontario Regulations 298/01, Ontario Regulations 339/01 (all, as amended from time to time), and/or the Part V Provider Agreement. Plus, each policy references which Section/s of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) Guide to RGI Assistance apply.
