Curbside Garbage and Recycling Collection Schedules |

The 2010/2011 Chatham-Kent Garbage and Recycling calendar have been delivered by mail to all residents currently receiving curbside collection. If you did not receive a calendar please e-mail ckies@chatham-kent.ca or call 519.360.1998 to have one mailed out. Calendars will also be available at all Municipal Centres or by downloading the file using the download gadget on the right hand side of the page. The Municipality of Chatham-Kent does not endorse the calendar produced by Hughes Advertising as it is not accurate regarding curbside collection information.
Schedules:
Blenheim
Garbage collection: Every Tuesday.
Recycling collection: The area West of Chatham St. (including Chatham St.) is collected on Tuesday and the area East of Chatham St. is collected on Friday during the weeks that begin with the green symbol.
Bothwell
Garbage collection: Every Friday.
Recycling collection: Tuesday during the weeks that begin with a green symbol.
Chatham and Chatham Fringe
Please refer to the download calendar for a map or contact 519.360.1998 for clarification.
Dealtown
Garbage collection: Every Monday.
Recycling collection: Thursday during the weeks that begin with the yellow symbol.
Dresden
Garbage collection: Every Friday.
Recycling collection: The area North of Queen St. (including Queen) and West of Hwy #21 and North of Main St. and East of Hwy #21 are collected on Thursday during the weeks that begin with the yellow symbol. The area South of Queen St. and West of Hwy #21 and South of Main St. and East of Hwy #21 are collected on Thursday during the weeks that begin with the green symbol.
Erie Beach and Erieau
Garbage collection: Every Monday.
Recycling collection: Thursday during the weeks that being with the yellow symbol.
Highgate
Garbage collection: Every Friday.
Recycling collection: Friday during the weeks that begin with the green symbol.
Howard
Area 1: Beechwood Line, O'Neill Line, Mitton Line, Cofell Line, Gosnell Line, Kent Rd 15 (401 to Cofell Line), Shewburg Rd/Scane/Colby Rd (401 to Mitton Line), Victoria Rd (401 to Gosnell Line), and Kenesserie Rd (west side only from 401 to Gosnell Line), Bates Subdivision, Rondeau Bay Estates (Including Rondeau Estates Line), Rose Beach Line, Terrace Beach Line, New Scotland Line (from Hill Rd to Onoko Line), Onoko Line (brought to New Scotland Line), Hill Rd (south of New Scotland Line only) will be collected every Monday. Recycling collection is Friday during the weeks that begin with the yellow symbol.
Area 2: South of the 401, roads not listed above. Area 2 will receive garbage collection on Friday. Recycling collection is Friday during the weeks with the yellow symbol.
Merlin
Garbage collection: Every Thursday.
Recycling collection: Thursday during the weeks that begin with the green symbol.
Ridgetown
Garbage collection: Every Tuesday.
Recycling collection: Friday during the weeks that begin with the green symbol.
Romney
Garbage collection: Every Monday.
Recycling collection: Area of Middleton, Sterling, Harbour, Wigfield, Lynn, Coatsworth St., Allen, Wigle, Klondyke and Talbot (from Wheatley town limits to Klondyke) are collected on Friday during the weeks with the yellow symbol. The rest of Romney is collected on Wednesday during the week that begins with the green symbol.
Thamesville
Garbage collection: Every Friday.
Recycling collection: Tuesday during the weeks with the green symbol.
Tilbury
Garbage collection: Every Monday.
Recycling collection: For the area west of Queen St. (including Queen) and the area north of Hwy #2 (including Hwy #2) is Monday during the weeks that begin with the yellow symbol. The area East of Queen St. and South of Hwy #2 is collection on Thursday during the weeks that begin with the yellow symbol.
Wallaceburg and Wallaceburg Fringe

Wheatley
Garbage collection: Every Monday.
Recycling collection: Friday during the weeks that begin with the yellow symbol.
Please note that all areas are serviced by BFI and are affected by Statutory Holidays.
